Let us all unite in prayer. Oh Merciful God, we bow in utter humility before Thee on this holy day. For us and for our sins Thy Son did offer up his life. Make us, we pray Thee, worthy of so great a sacrifice. Help us to be more loving, more kind, because of his great love and suffering for us.
